Many messages repeat what a web page already says: a name, a reference, a date, how many items. Instead of copying each value across by hand, paste the page’s link into the snippet’s form. Fibonax reads the page and fills the fields for you. You check them, then insert. Nothing is ever inserted by itself.

Use it

  1. Open the snippet the way you always do: type its trigger, pick it from the menu, right-click, or open it in the extension popup, the editor preview or on your phone.
  2. At the top of the form, paste the link into Fill from link, then press Fill or Enter.
  3. The fields fill in. Each one that came from the page says From link.
  4. Check the values, change any you need, then insert. In the popup and on your phone, tap Copy or Share.
The Fill from link box only appears on snippets whose fields say where their value is on a page. That is set up once, in the editor.

Set up a snippet

The Text, Number, Date/Time and Choice windows in the editor have a Fill from a pasted link option. Tick it, then say where the value is on the page:
  • Text after a label: the value printed right after a label. Type the label exactly as the page shows it, like Order number or Pick-up. Capitals and accents don’t matter.
  • Number before a word, added up: for counts written like 2 Boxes. Type the word that follows the number. When a page writes it differently for one, type both spellings separated by |, like Box|Boxes. If the word appears in several places, the numbers are added up. If the page doesn’t mention it at all, the field keeps its default, so give the field a default of 0.
Number before a word is offered on Number fields, because a count is a number. Text, Date/Time and Choice fields use Text after a label.

Which pages work

  • Public pages. Anyone with the link can open the page without signing in. Pages behind a login can’t be read.
  • Secure links only. The link has to start with https://. If you paste one without it, Fibonax adds it.
  • Text that is in the page itself. Some pages only fill in their text after they open in a browser. Fibonax can’t read those.
Fibonax opens the page from its own server, so it works the same on the computer and on your phone. It doesn’t keep the page or the link. Each person can read up to 20 pages a minute and 300 a day.

Dates

Dates are read the way the page writes them: 2026-10-09, 09/10/2026, 9 October 2026, Oct 9, 2026, 9 de octubre de 2026, venerdì 9 ottobre 2026 or vendredi 9 octobre 2026. 09/10/2026 could be 9 October or 10 September. Fibonax only reads it when the page settles which one it is:
  • a weekday printed next to it, like Friday, 09/10/2026, or
  • a day above 12, like 13/10/2026.
Otherwise the field is left for you to fill in, marked Unclear on the page: check it. A weekday that doesn’t match its date is never trusted either. A Date and time field also needs a time on the page. To print a date written out in the snippet’s language, like viernes 9 de octubre de 2026, choose the Written out format. See Fields.

What the marks mean

Writing it by hand

Add link= to any field. after: takes the text after a label, before: adds up the numbers before a word:
A label can’t contain ; or braces. Everything else in it is matched as written.
