A prompt is a longer instruction for an AI assistant: who it should be, what it should do, and the rules it should follow. SprintBrain keeps your prompts next to your snippets, in the same folders, so your team works from the same wording.

Insert a prompt

  • From the menu. Type """ in any text field. The Prompt mode menu opens with a few built-in prompts (Formal tone, Casual tone, Translate, Summarize, Expand, Convert to bullets), then your own prompts under My prompt base. Keep typing to narrow the list, then press Tab or Enter.
  • With its shortcut. Give a prompt a shortcut, like followup. Typing """followup inserts it straight away, without the menu.
  • By copying it. On the Prompts page, click Use on a prompt card to open it, then Copy. On your phone, use Copy text or Use now.
A prompt goes in as plain text. Unlike a snippet, it has no fill form. """ is the default prompt trigger. You can change it in Triggers.
